City Begins Rehabilitation of Park Avenue Property

The governing body of Hinton, Mayor Jack Scott and City Council members, have purchased the deteriorated property located at 111-113 Park Avenue, across from Hinton Area Elementary (HAE) School at the intersection of Park Avenue/Cross Street. With the demolition of the dilapidated structures, the city’s intent is to provide the opportunity for much needed new home construction complimentary to other homes currently on the block of Park Avenue and to make the area safe and suitable for school children.
