Hinton Mayor Jack Scott and the City Council are happy to announce their partnership with The Center for Rural Health Development to provide funding to owner-occupied homes in Hinton. The primary purpose of the funds is to provide health and safety improvements for residents both inside and outside their owner-occupied residence. Mayor Scott commented, “We are really excited to partner with the Center for Rural Health to provide funds that will help the community improve quality of life and safety for its residents. We are anxious to get started. Thank you to Councilman Jim Leslie, Shalom Tazewell, Patti Crawford and Janima Bond for getting the project started”.
