After repairing the storm drains on Temple and Summers Streets, the work has now begun to resurface this important entrance from I-64 into our National Historic District, our community, Sandstone Falls, etc.
We are advised this will be about a 3-week process: milling (removing), layering and paving…..from the Temple Street Bridge to our City Police Station on 17th Avenue, and then return on Summers Street and up 2nd Avenue.
Thank you to Governor Justice, WV Highways Commissioner Byrd White, State Senator Jack David Woodrum, Summers County Department of Highways employees and Hinton Mayor Jack Scott. #CityofHintonWV #StateofWestVirginia #BeautifulHinton
