On Monday, July 1, 2024, the City of Hinton governing body begins a new 4-year term of office. Congratulations to Mayor Jack Scott for re-election to a second 4-year term as our Mayor. The four (4) members of Council will include two (2) new members: Lee Ann Goins and Janima Bond. The other two (2) Council members are incumbents ‘Bobbi’ Sorg and Jim Leslie.
The City of Hinton will provide a Public Swearing-In ceremony of the new governing body and Hinton citizens are welcome to come out in support of each and/or all.
There were 618 city voters who cared enough and took the time to vote for the candidate(s) of choice. Regardless for whom you cast your vote, THANK YOU!
